What a record represents
A water-heating or circulation record describes cost and usage for a property during a specific period.
You can add records manually when you know the values, or generate them from meter readings when the calculation follows a repeatable rule.
What to review
Before using a record for reporting or billing, check that the period and source data match the actual utility period.
- Property: the building the cost belongs to.
- Period: the dates the usage or cost covers.
- Origin: whether the record was entered manually or generated by a rule.
Hot water circulation constant
Enter the monthly circulation energy in MWh for one property or unit. This is an energy allocation value, not a hot-water meter reading or a price.
For a unit, its positive value takes priority. If the unit value is empty, the calculation uses the property's value, then the generation rule's fallback, then a configured country default. A property-level calculation starts with the property's value. Generation requires one of these values to be available.
In Latvia, the country default is 0.1 MWh per month for each calculation target. Other countries do not automatically use this Latvian default.
